Come celebrate the music of one of America’s most beloved songwriters, Carole King, with some of the region’s best musicians on one stage. The evening will feature four of the Capital Region’s premier musical acts together for a special tribute to one of the most celebrated and iconic female singer/songwriters of all time, with performances by Angelina Valente, Caity & The Gallaghers, Hold on Honeys and Steve Hammond. Angelina Valente
Angelina Valente is an indie folk singer-songwriter out of Upstate New York. Her uninhibited voice draws a room of people right to her and her sincere lyrics keep them there. Angelina grew up in a small town developing a deep love for nature and quiet, both of which feed and inspire her and her music. She has released one full length album, two EPs, and four singles. She played a sold-out performance at The Cock ‘n Bull restaurant just this past January and has recorded at the esteemed Village Studios in L.A., as well as the Atlantic Records Studio in New York.
Caity & The Gallaghers
Caity Gallagher is an indie folk singer songwriter based in Albany, NY. Blending rootsy compositions and lilting vocal lines, Gallagher’s honest optimism shines through her lyrics, allowing her storytelling to map the meandering paths of the human experience. She’ll be performing with her band, Caity & The Gallaghers.
Hold on Honeys
Hold On Honeys is a folk-influenced acoustic band based in Troy, NY offering tight knit harmonies to nourish the soul and invigorate the senses. Hold on Honeys is Emily Curro, Raya Malcolm, and Shannon Rafferty, Connor Armbruster and Michael Gregg.
Steve Hammond
Steve Hammond is a singer, musician, songwriter and audio engineer currently residing in Troy, New York. He has written and recorded more than 30 albums in the last 20 years in genres as diverse as honky tonk, psychedelic pop, thrash metal and experimental noise rock.
