About The Artists..

Zan Strumfeld leads Zan & The Winter Folk, an Americana/folk band from Troy, NY. The Winter Folk create anthems for the revivalists, lullabies for the lonely, and ballads for the hopeful. Vacillating between an acoustic quartet — two guitars, banjo and upright bass — and a rocking quintet with drums, The Winter Folk blend an upbeat, rootsy spirit with a melodic longing and vulnerability in their storytelling. Since forming in 2017, they have played at festivals, music halls and living rooms. With a captivating sound and comedic banter, The Winter Folk reveal a unique and intimate performance wherever they play. The band released their first full-length album, "New Morse Code," in June 2024.

Belle-Skinner is a dark nostalgic singer-songwriter based in New York. With a hauntingly beautiful, lilting soprano and innate sense of melody she crafts tales of songbirds, sirens and desert nomads - nuanced and layered stories which bridge the gap between past and present. Though her influences cover a broad range of genres - from French chansons and Russian folk to contemporary alt-pop and rock - her voice often draws comparisons to the likes of Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, Jeff Buckley, Mary Hopkin, and early St. Vincent.

Brule County Bad Boys was born in a tiny little Brule County, South Dakota jail cell. Singer/Songwriter Josh Coletto found himself with time, some loose leaf paper & and the distraction of writing. Finally out of the pen, Josh & Tex got together to hit the studio and begin production on the album “Chamberlain.” It wasn’t long before the gang took the show to honky tonks and back alleys of Troy, gaining admirers, enemies, and devoted fans.

Drank The Gold… 2023 Folk/Traditional Artist of the Year at the NY Capital Region Thomas Edison Music Awards, Drank the Gold play and sing North Atlantic dance tunes and folk songs.  Both steeped in music from an early age, they have been performing together since 2015.  Their album, Sipped The Silver, simultaneously features Oona Grady's deep Irish fiddle roots; James Gascoyne's compositional talents; and their shared passion for digging deep into traditional music and finding something new to say.

Dylan Perillo leads The Dylan Perrillo Orchestra, a medium-sized collection of musical friends from Albany, New York. Since their organization in 2013, DPO has performed around the northeast for concerts, outdoor festivals, private parties and swing dances. They perform music ranging from 19th century operettas to dance hits of the 1920's to modern original compositions making their live performances enjoyable for people of all sonic interests.

Girl Blue + Jimi W…. If you like Alanis Morissette, Brandi Carlile, and crying in public, you’re going to love Girl Blue. Writing deeply emotional songs with strong singable hooks, singer-songwriter Arielle O’Keefe is absolutely one to watch. She’s been featured on top Spotify playlists (New Music Friday) and charts (#2 on US Viral Charts), in national commercials, and on top blogs like the Huffington Post. She has received 7 Thomas Edison Music Awards, twice receiving Songwriter of the Year and Solo Act of the Year. It’s been said “she…has the kind of spark that makes stars” and, most especially as a live performer, she has an authenticity that regularly moves audience members to tears.

Jimi W. is a musical “jack of all trades” residing just outside of Saratoga Springs, NY. On one hand, he is a deeply gifted and prolific singer-songwriter, creating songs and visuals that move and inspire. On the other hand, he’s a visionary producer and session musician, working with artists to help bring their music to life with the highest level of care and craft.

Michael Gregg is a banjo player from Troy, New York. He is 32 years old, and of normal, if robust, height and weight. He is a founding member of Zan & The Winter Folk. He also plays with Hold on Honeys.
